I am working the day before Christmas:
Customer: “The only Christmas cards left are the crappy ones!”
Me: “Well, it is Christmas tomorrow.”
Customer: “Exactly! You should have a lot of cards! Where is your manager?”
Manager is summoned.
Manager: “You came in here the day before Christmas, and complain about the selection of Christmas cards?”
Customer: “Exactly! It’s the day before Christmas! You should have lots of cards in stock!”
Manager: “We did. They’ve all been sold already.”
Customer: “Exactly! So you should have made sure you had a lot in stock!”
Manager: “I feel like we’re reading the same book but you’re holding your copy upside down…”
