Time To Face The Music And Do The Dishes
(I’m sitting on the couch listening to music while working on some assignments for my online college classes. My husband walks in from the kitchen.)
Husband: “I thought you were going to do the dishes.”
Me: “I said I would once I’m done with this assignment. I’m only halfway through.”
Husband: “No, you’re not. You’re listening to music. You can’t be working.”
Me: *turns my laptop around to show him my online learning program on the screen, and the only other thing running is my music player* “And somehow I can’t do both?”
(He slunk back into the kitchen and started doing the dishes himself.)
