(My openly gay friend has just announced on Facebook that he’s in a relationship.)

Me: “Awesome, [Friend #1]! Congrats!”

Friend #2: “Way to go!”

Friend #3: “Sweet!”

Friend #4: “That’s gotta be one lucky girl. I can’t wait to meet her.”

Me: “Umm… should somebody tell [Friend #4]?”
