(I only taught briefly… the workload was killing me. Every night I would work til late at night grading and planning lessons, then get to school before the kids got there, and even with all that work I was falling behind. So, I just about fell sideways when a student raised his hand and asked:)
Student: “Teacher, I don’t mean to be rude, but why do we have to do all this work and you don’t have to do any?”
