(There is an overly large dead cockroach in the hallway that I just haven’t been bothered to pick up yet.)
Mom: “Hey, did you see that dead cockroach?”
Me: “Yup. I’m just ignoring it for now.”
Mom: “Oh… well, me too.”
(She walked away.)
