This Roll Is Lit
I work at a sushi restaurant, and we have a special roll that we set on fire when we bring it out to you. If you have it to go or delivered, it’s just wrapped in foil.
A customer is ordering for delivery.
Caller: “Can I get an order of the [Special Roll]?”
Me: “Sure thing.”
Caller: “Does that still come on fire?”
I pause, thinking he’s joking… surely?
Me: “No, sir. That doesn’t come on fire when it’s to-go or delivery.”
Caller: “Aww, why not?”
Me: “It’s usually considered unsafe for the delivery guy to have an item literally on fire inside his vehicle.”
Caller: “Well, can you, like, ask him to set it on fire when he gets to my porch?”
Me: “That’s not something we can do, sir.”
Caller: *Sounding like an upset toddler.* “Well then, I don’t want it anymore!”
