This Road Goes Through The Rainforest And Mental Hoops
A customer walks into the store and as the cashier closest to the door he decides I can handle his complaint.
Customer: “You have too many electric vehicle charging spaces out there now! You keep adding more! You’re pushing us regular drivers further from the store!”
Me: “Well, it’s all part of [Store’s] commitment to go carbon neutral. 90% of the lot is still dedicated to vehicles using gas.”
Customer: “You’re focusing on the wrong place! The amount of CO2 released by cars is nothing compared to the amount of CO2 released by the rainforests!”
Me: “You literally have that backward. The rainforests suck up all the CO2, they don’t release it.”
Customer: “Are you sure?”
Me: “Yes, 100% sure. Trees breathe in CO2.”
Customer: “So we should build more roads in the rainforest so we can feed them the CO2?”
Me: “…no.”
