This Lotion Is To Be Sniffed At

| Working | September 12, 2015

(My candy store is a small one, so there are only four employees. This story takes place on inventory day, so all four of us are on the schedule, to get everything done. The manager isn’t in yet, so it’s me and my two other coworkers. Coworker #1 insists that she can smell “something nice.”)

Coworker #1: “Is that you? [Coworker #2], are you wearing something? That’s you, right?”

(She leans in close to Coworker #2, practically laying her head on her shoulder, and starts sniffing.)

Coworker #2: *weirded out, but laughing* “Stop sniffing me…”

(Shortly afterwards, I use the restroom, and after washing my hands put on some lotion on my way out.)

Coworker #1: “And now YOU smell nice, too! [My Name], what is that?!”

Me: “It’s the lotion I keep in the bathroom.”

(I hold my hand out for her to smell.)

Coworker #2: “STOP SNIFFING PEOPLE!”
