Classmate: *apparently annoyed* “Look at this: I just got this refund on my electricity bill from my old accommodation.”
Me: “…Yes?”
Classmate: “It’s from [Bank]. I don’t even bank with [Bank]. Do I have to take it there to cash it?”
Me: “Well, you could, but it’s easier to pay it into your own bank account. That would make more sense.”
Classmate: “Oh, you mean it’s a cheque?”
Me: *face-palm*
