This Easter, Be Thankful

My mom is making plans for Easter with some extended family.

Aunt: “So what are we doing for Easter weekend?”

Mom: “Weekend? Doesn’t Easter fall on a Thursday this year?”

My dad and I look up from what we’re doing and lock eyes with our aunt, who is laughing.

Aunt: “That only happens when Thanksgiving falls on a Sunday.”

Mom: “Oh… okay, that makes sense.”
