(We are learning how to divide polynomials using long division in Algebra II.)
Teacher: “Okay, so it’s really very similar to regular long division, except with variables.”
Student: “What if I don’t like if there are letters there?”
Teacher: “What do you mean?”
Student: “What if I prefer numbers? I don’t like it when letters and numbers get together in math.”
