This Cannot End Well, Part 3
Customer: “Do you sell anything that will make me a platinum blonde?”
The customer’s thick and glorious hair is about as black as I have ever seen hair.
Me: “We carry many coloring products, and some people peroxide their hair to get it platinum, but it carries the risk of damaging the hair. I would recommend going to a salon to get advice; we’re just a regular grocery store.”
The customer nods and walks off. She comes back to the checkout later while talking on the phone.
Customer: “No! Seriously, I Googled it.”
She checked out with a turkey baster, nail varnish remover, and about thirty lemons. I didn’t see her again.
