Customer: “This buy one get one free deal?”
Me: “Yes, sir.”
Customer: “Can I just get one at half price?”
Me: “We do them at half price, but then we charge 200% when you get just one.”
Customer: “That’s terrible!”
Me: “But then we also give you another for 0%.”
Customer: “Oh, well… that’s okay then.”
The customer walks away, seemingly satisfied. My manager just looks at me.
Manager: “What was that?”
Me: “Customer math.”
