(I’m talking with my ex-boyfriend over the phone. We recently broke up because he moved to another state. We’re still good friends.)

Ex-boyfriend: “Well, I should probably go now.”

Me: “Okay. Wait, you know I still love you, right?”

Ex-boyfriend: “Yeah!”

Me: “How much?”

Ex-boyfriend: “Ten.”

Me: “On what scale?”

Ex-boyfriend: “One to five.”

Me: “Yep! Alright, you can go.”
