(It’s my first day on a new job and I am eating lunch in the break room. Another employee comes in and looks at me.)

Employee: “Hey, did you see the lemon cake they had out here yesterday?”

Me: “I wasn’t employed here yesterday.”

Employee: “Oh. Well, good talk!”
