A woman bought a shed.
Me: “What’s your loading bay number so we can bring it out to you?”
Customer: “I haven’t driven.”
Me: “Do you need the number of a man with a van or something?”
Customer: “My husband will carry it.”
Me: “Madam… it is a building.”
She insisted that I was being ridiculous and demanded we bring it up so her middle-aged husband could carry it out of the store.
Customer: “We only live about a ten-minute walk away.”
We brought it up, with extreme difficulty.
Customer: “What’s that thing?”
Me: “That’s your shed, madam.”
Customer: “There’s no way Jeff is carrying that!”
Oddly enough, she decided to pay the money to have it delivered.
