They Did Things Differently Back Then
(Born in Hong Kong, my dad is not very good with English. As a result, he often butchers common words and phrases. I am talking to him about a reunion dinner.)
Dad: “You know, I know my friends since high-school!”
Me: “That’s nice.”
Dad: “You must be know to make good friends! They help you in bad times!”
Me: “Uh-huh.”
Dad: “Remember, good friends are always touching!”
