These Customers Sure Know How To Stretch The Limits
I work in a shoe store, and I’ve dealt with some really ridiculous demands.
Customer #1: “Can I get this pair of [shoes] in a size [number]?”
Me: “I’m sorry, but we don’t have that size in stock right now.”
Customer #1: “Can you go in the back and make some for me?”
On another occasion, when I told a customer we didn’t have their size, they asked:
Customer #2: “Can’t you just take a pair in the next size down and stretch them so they’ll fit me?”
I’ve also had people try to return shoes that they purchased in the US; we’re in Canada. I’ve had them try to return shoes that they purchased two years ago, on clearance, when the style was being discontinued.
