There Is No Spoon…
(My dad is unloading the dishwasher in the kitchen while my sister and I are watching TV in the living room.)
Dad: “Where does this go?”
Me: “What?”
Dad: “This!”
Me: “I can’t see what you’re holding.”
Dad: “The thing you stir with!”
(I walked into the kitchen and my dad was holding a wooden spoon. We’ve never let him live it down and there have been many instances like it since.)
