Their Terms Are Hopeless

(I am a police officer for a small county in Pennsylvania. The school board has approved our department’s officers to enter the school and roam freely. One quiet day, I walk into the school and through the hallways. I walk by a class with a sign that reads “Abandon all hope, ye who enters here.”)

Me: “Midterms?”

Student: “Yep.”
