Their Knowledge Is A Bit Floppy, Part 3

Keep in mind this is the late 1980s to early ’90s. I am working in a computer repair shop when a lady comes in.
Customer: “My computer isn’t working.”
Me: “What’s wrong with it?”
Customer: “Well, my sister gave me a disk to install something, but it didn’t work.”
Me: “Okay, ma’am, can I see the computer?”
She hoisted her tower up onto the counter, and I saw that she had tried to use a five-and-a-quarter-inch floppy disk, and when it didn’t fit, she had FOLDED it to fit into a three-and-a-half-inch floppy disk drive. And when it still didn’t really fit, she shoved it all the way in and got upset that it didn’t work. I had to take apart the whole floppy disk drive to remove it.
