The Slumber Before Christmas
(On Halloween, I head over to my friend’s house so we can carpool. I ring her doorbell, and she walks out wearing pajamas and a robe, carrying a pillow and blanket.)
Me: “What are you supposed to be?”
Friend: “Tired. So f****** tired.”
