The Shopping Dead

They say you encounter the strangest folks at Walmart, and I had that sort of encounter not too long ago. My dad and I were visiting Walmart one morning for some quick shopping, and as we were walking through the parking lot, a middle-aged woman stopped us, looking at my dad.

Woman: “I just wanted to say, you look EXACTLY like my dead husband!”

She walked off like she didn’t just compare my dad to a dead guy, and we both just stared at each other for a moment.

Me: “…I don’t know if that’s a compliment, or if she just called you a corpse.”
