The Rewards Card That Keeps On Rewarding

A woman is trying to pay for her meal at our quasi-Mexican grill place. We have a rewards card, and every tenth meal is free.

Customer: “Just put the meal on the card.”

Cashier: *Blank stare* “That’s not a credit card.”

Customer: *Getting all pissy* “I know; it’s your card! I want to charge my meal to it!”

As she was clearly still not getting it, the cashier tried to explain to her that it was just a rewards card, not a credit or debit card. This went back and forth for about five minutes until the lady just pulled out another credit card.
