The Only Marathon Here Was On Netflix

A patient is coming in for a full medical, as it’s something he gets for free once a year through his work’s medical insurance. I’m going through a range of preliminary questions.

Me: “How often do you exercise?”

Patient: “My rights? All the time.”

Me: “Haha, you know what I mean.”

Patient: “Let’s put it this way. The most athletic thing I have done in the last ten years is get athlete’s foot.”

Me: “Soooo… I’m going to put down “not very often” as the answer, then?”
