The Lengths People Go To
Customer: “What’s the difference between the 1m and the 2m charging cable?”
He said it as “one-em” and “two-em”.
Me: “Well, they’re both the same brand and make, so the only difference between them is the length.”
Customer: “What’s a length? Sorry, I don’t know all these technical terms.”
Me: “Uh, the length means how long the cables are. This one is one meter, and this one is two.”
Customer: “Meters? As in metric? No wonder I didn’t understand what you’re talking about! I need to go find me an American store!”
He gave me the two Sony cables and walked out angry, either with me or the metric system, I’m not sure.
