(My friend is really crushing on a celebrity and keeps referring to him as her boyfriend/husband/soulmate, so on.)

Friend: “I wish he was a Time Lord.”

Me: “A Time Lord? Why?”

Friend: “Remember Ten and Rose? He regenerated a human clone that could be with her.”

Me: “Ooh. But does he even know you? He doesn’t have any memories of you does he?”

Friend: “Not a clue. I’ve sent fan mail, though. He’ll still be him; we can create new memories!”
