The Father Of The Constitution Is Not An Institution

| Learning | May 15, 2014

(I am a TA in college for a freshman American history/economics/government class. A bunch of TAs for this course are sitting together and grading essays.)

TA #1: “Oh, this is going to be a long paper.”

Me: “What?”

TA #1: “The first line begins, ‘When George Washington wrote the Gettysburg Address, he discussed women’s rights.'”

TA #2: “And I thought I had it bad with this one that thinks that James Madison was a progressivist muckraker.”
