The Deflector Movie Screen Is Still Up

(I am waiting in line to see “Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens” on opening night. As expected, the line is very long and in order to pass the time I’m chatting with the guy behind me. Suddenly, the fire alarm goes off.)

Me: “Is that the fire alarm?”

Guy Behind Me: “I don’t smell smoke.”

(Suddenly a mall employee comes sprinting toward what I assume is the breaker room, and the alarm stops. They assure us there is no emergency, and those standing in line quickly piece together what’s happened: someone pulled the fire alarm so everyone would evacuate and they could cut to the front of the line. We’re still shaken from the alarm, until a guy standing at the front of the line comes up with this gem:)

Guy At The Front: “IT’S A TRAP!”
