The Boy From U.N.C.L.E.

Home | Related | August 28, 2012

(In lots of pacific islander cultures, we call everyone auntie or uncle if they’re older than us. I’m five years old.)

Mom: “So, if anyone looks like they’re old enough to be your mom, call them auntie. Otherwise, call them cousin.”

Me: “Anyone old enough to be my mom?”

Mom: “Yes, call them auntie!”

Me: “Okay, auntie!”
