That’s Nothing To Wine About
I am waiting on a large shipment to arrive from a large national courier company, but I see something odd flagged on the system to call customer service. This large shipment is unusual for a non-business customer; a group of coworkers and I have gotten together to place an order for forty-five bottles of wine direct from a winery to save on shipping fees. During the call, the following ensues:
Courier: “…and what does the shipment contain?”
Me: “Wine.”
There’s an awkward silence, as the courier representative expects me to say something else.
Courier: “Four boxes?”
Me: “Yes.”
