That One Went Down To The Wire

(I need a new wire for my charger, so I go into a nearby shop.)

Me: “Can you direct me to the charger wires, please?”

Assistant: “We don’t have the wires, sorry, only the chargers. Look, I’ll show you.” *takes me to a shelf* “There you go.”

(I look at the shelf full of boxes containing wires.)

Me: “Ah, thank you. I might buy one of these charger wires you apparently don’t sell.”
