That Comment Is On The Line

(My boyfriend and I met online when I was 13 and he was 15. We are now 28 and 30, and have been living together for just over a year. He has just called me into the computer room to show me an edited cartoon clip, where the original audio has been replaced with profanity and the image shakes wildly.)

Me: “You find the weirdest things online! But that’s where you found me, so I guess I can’t complain.”

Boyfriend: “Yeah! YOU’RE a weird thing!”
