Text Out Of Context

(I’m always bugging my boyfriend to text me, because I always text him first. I’m in class, and he sends me a one-word text from home.)

Boyfriend: “Text.”

Me: “That’s it? I was expecting a ‘hi’, or ‘how are you’, or ‘boop’, or ‘I’m feasting on the souls of our enemies!’, not just the word ‘text’!”
