(No one in our class likes our English teacher but she and I particularly do not get on. She has just assigned us an unreasonable task and walked out of the room. We are grumbling about it.)
Classmate #1: “Someone should just tell her it’s too little time.”
Classmate #2: “[My Name], you do it.”
Me: “She’s not going to listen. She’ll just shout at whoever says it.”
Classmate #2: “Yeah, but someone needs to say it.”
Me: “Yes, but why me? She hates me.”
Classmate #3: “Exactly. If she’s going to shout at someone, it might as well be you. You can’t fall any further from grace with her!”
