Taking The Anal Out Of Banal
(I am walking to the grocery store with my 4-year old son. He likes to talk about very random subjects. Today, he’s asking about the expression of pet anal glands.)
Son: “Do doctors know humans don’t have anal glands?”
Me: “Yes.”
Son: “But, what would happen if a doctor didn´t know that?”
Me: “They do know that.”
Son: “But, what would happen if a doctor tried to express a human’s anal glands, and didn´t find any anal glands. What would the doctor say then?”
Me: “Well, I think the bigger question is what ‘the human’ would say…”
