Take A Chance On Three

(I’ve have dropped by my brother’s apartment unannounced. He seems a little jumpy, and I’m teasing him.)

Me: “So, my friend’s back in town. You know, you should take her out. She really likes you.”

Brother: “Uh, well. She’s cool, but I, uh…”

Me: “Aw, come on, just—”

(His bedroom door opens, and a very pretty young woman in a state of disarray wanders out.)

Young woman, to my brother: “Yeah, dude. Don’t be lame. Give the lady a chance!”
