Take A Byte Out Of Your Humor

| Learning | November 3, 2016

(I’m in fourth grade and because my dad is an engineer, I have a better grasp of technology than most kids my age. Combine that with my odd sense of humor and scenarios like this happen. A computer tech is in our classroom at the time fixing one of our computers.)

Teacher: “So when we want to indicate that someone owns an item we can add an apostrophe and an ‘s’ at the end of their name or title. For example we can say ‘These are Susan’s cookies’ or ‘These are the Doctor’s cookies.’ We can even say ‘These are the computer technician’s cookies!’

Me: “Yeah, and they’ll each have 150 bytes!”

(I laughed so hard I had tears streaming down my face all while my teacher and my classmates stared in silence.)
