23 Amazing Stories About Spain! – The Not Always Right World Tour!

Dear readers,

It’s time to continue the Not Always Right world tour! Last time, we visited Japan, and before that, IndiaThe Philippines, and Brazil! Today, we are heading to the country whose national anthem has no words, where 150,000 tomatoes are thrown at people each year in the world’s largest food fight, and where the locals own more cars than cellphones… we’re going to Spain!

The population of 46 million Spaniards doesn’t actually speak Spanish! They speak either Castilian, Catalan, Basque, or Galician, not to mention several other regional dialects. What most non-Spaniards would recognize as “Spanish” is, in fact, Castilian.

We like to revel in learning new facts about interesting places like this, but sadly, some people in our stories aren’t as accommodating with the gaps in their knowledge. You’ll find some hilarious examples of them and many more in the following 23 stories about, or set in Spain.
