Sweet And Sour And Sordid Sauce

(I’m eating dinner while in a Skype call with a friend. I have a habit of forgetting where the mic is at any given time, and thus often manage to hit it with my cutlery. I’ve done that this time and am wiping sauce off the mic.)

Friend: “…Okay?”

Me: “Sorry, I’d gotten sweet and sour sauce on the microphone.”

Friend: “You’re putting food all over me. All the time!”

Me: “Take that out of context…”
