Trumpeting Their Opinion

(We have recently gotten a trumpet for my youngest sister, and some of my other relatives are visiting the house. It should be noted that I and my sisters are all musicians, but while we all play violin and piano, we all play different band instruments – I, the euphonium, my little sister, the clarinet, and my youngest sister will play the trumpet.)

Aunt: “So, why did you choose a trumpet for her to play instead of something you two already play?”

Me: *deadpans* “Because it’s loud and obnoxious, just like her personality.”
