There’s No Place Like Jumanji
(We are in bed, trying to wake up for work. My husband is on his phone and chuckles.)
Husband: “I just read a Jumanji quote.”
Me: “Yeah? What was it?”
Husband: “’You know it’s been a good day when you didn’t have to unleash the flying monkeys.’”
Me: “That’s from The Wizard of Oz. Jumanji monkeys didn’t fly.”
(He hands me his phone. There is a meme showing a pair of feet propped up, wearing pink high heels and black-and-white striped stockings.)
Me: “See the stockings? That’s what the Wicked Witches wore.”
(I think it’s time to watch both movies again.)
