Sugarcoating The Truth

Customer: “Do you sell sugar? I’ve walked up and down the aisle twice and I can’t find it.”

Me: “Sure, I’ll show you where we keep it.”

(I walk down the aisle and point to the display.)

Me: “We have icing, individual packaged, granulated, and brown, ma’am.”

Customer: “So, you have no sugar, then.” *walks away angrily and reports to my manager on duty that we should stock sugar*

(We sell four types of sugar and three types of sweetener.)
