Suffering A Hot Period

(My fiancé and I are laying in bed trying to go to sleep. It has been very warm and muggy lately, and I am miserable.)

Me: “I’m too hot. Get the fan from the other room, please?”

Fiancé: “I’m not hot. You go get the fan.”

Me: “But it’s heavy and I hurt my shoulder. Please?”

Fiancé: “You’ll be cooler if you take your clothes off.”

Me: “I’m not sleeping naked.”

Fiancé: *whispers in my ear seductively* “Either you strip for me, or I strip you myself.”

Me: “I’m on my period.”

Fiancé: *leaps out of bed* “I’ll get the fan for you, my love!”
