Strolling On Out Of Parenting

(I am at the entrance to the children’s play area in my museum. Across from me is stroller parking. A family of three adults and two kids approaches with a stroller.)

Adult #1: “Hey, do we have to leave our stroller out here?”

Me: “We do prefer you to; however, we can make exceptions if you really need it with you.”

Adult #1: “Okay, it’s fine.”

(The group starts to enter; [Adult #2] moves to put the stroller in a corner, facing the wall.)

Adult #1: “We just have a sleeping baby in there.”

Me: *pause* “Sir, please go get your stroller and your baby.”
