Streaming Is Going South

I work for a small broadcasting company with a mobile streaming service. I get a call on our customer number.

Caller: “Yeah, I’m in Mississippi.”

Me: “Yes?”

Caller: “Well… I want to complain!”

Me: “What is your complaint?”

Caller: *In the saddest Southern drawl* “Well, I’m complaining that your services are only available in Mobile.”

They meant Mobile, as in the town in Alabama. They had seen “mobile streaming service” and went straight to assuming it meant a town of 180,000.
