Store Bought Birds And Bees

(We are going to ‘Kids R Us’ to buy a birthday gift for a friend’s daughter. My four-year-old son is asking many questions.)

Son: “Are we getting your friend’s daughter?”

Me: “Yes, we are getting her a present.”

(Finally, the look he is giving the storefront makes me realize what he has really been asking.)

Me: “Do you think this is where people get their kids?”

Son: “Yeah! Did you get me here?”

Me: “No, honey, you’re homemade.”
