(Two of my children are arguing and I happen to overhear:)

Son: “[Daughter], you’re just plain obnoxious!”

Daughter: *begins angry protest*

Me: *sweetly* “[Daughter], you listen to [Son]. He’s the expert on being obnoxious.”
