Step On Eggshell When Choosing A Color
(I am ten, and I get my own room.)
Parents: “You can choose your favourite colour for the walls.”
Me: *excited* “Any colour I want?”
Parents: “Of course. Which one do you want?”
Me: “Black! I’ve never seen a black room!”
Parents: *very worried* “No way, pick another color.”
Me: “I want something unusual! Deep red?”
Parents: “White or eggshell?”
Me: *disappointed* “Eggshell.”
