Soup, There It Is
I’m allergic to tomatoes, so there were a few items on our menu that I never tried. A customer ordered the tomato soup.
Customer: “Do you like it?”
Me: “Our customers love it!”
Customer: “But do you like it, personally?”
Me: “Unfortunately, I’m allergic to tomatoes.”
Customer: “It’s soup! They’re not even real tomatoes!”
I’ll remember to tell that to my vegetarian boyfriend about the chicken soup. He’ll be so thrilled he can finally try it.
